Yin Yoga Training

This 30 hour yin yoga teacher training with Jaspah offers a comprehensive exploration of yin yang theory, TCM 5 element theory, physical and energetic anatomy, yin meditation, and the tools and techniques needed to effectively practice and teach yin yoga.

 

Designed to support both yoga teachers interested in teaching yin yoga, and dedicated students looking to dive deeper into their own practice, the 3 day course provides a comprehensive and diverse experience including practices, lectures, group work, and teaching opportunities that will you feeling confident and inspired.

  • Yin Yang Theory
  • TCM 5 Elements Theory

  • Physical Anatomy (with a focus on fascia and joint mobility/flexibility)

Can I teach yin yoga after this training?
  • Provided you have already completed a 200 hour teacher training program and have your insurance and first aid – absolutely!

 

Do I have to be a yoga teacher to do this training?
  • No! Anyone with an interest in yin yoga can complete this course.
Does this count toward the GSY 300hr Teacher Training
  • Yes! This counts as 30 hours of your 300 hour teacher training.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
  • 20+ days before course start date: 80% refund (excludes $100 admin fee)
  • 10-20 days before the course start date: 50% refund (excludes $100 admin fee)
  • 5-10 days before the course start date: 25% refund (excludes $100 admin fee)
  • 0 – 5 days before the course start date: No refund

If for extenuating circumstances you are unable to complete the course once you have commenced, the best course of action will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Faculty

Hannah Campos

Hannah practices and teaches movement for the purpose of finding freedom, comfort, and ease in the body. Her own experience of discomfort and instability in her body while pregnant and postpartum led to a dramatic overhaul in her approach to movement. She has a passion for functional movement, engaged and inspired alignment, and using asana as a gateway to the deeper, more subtle practices of yoga.

In addition to teaching yoga Hannah is a certified Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner which is a bodywork modality combining Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu, and Osteopathic techniques.

Jaspah Marques

Jaspah first discovered yoga and meditation in 2005 as a way of managing the demands of his corporate job. Over the following years, Jaspah’s journey with yoga and meditation deepened as he experimented with various styles from a range of lineages and traditions.

Jaspah has studied and practiced various styles of yoga, meditation and coaching across North America, Australia, and Asia. He enjoys variety in his practice and works to utilise a range of techniques to help his students find an approach that suits their specific needs and style. He currently specialises in teaching yin yoga and meditation.
